Delle Donne Consort appears at the season presentation 26/27 at De Bijloke. As co-producer of our new production De Gezichten, De Bijloke has hosted Delle Donne Consort and a broader artistic team in a residency, and the resulting performance will premiere this autumn.
What Delle Donne Consort brings to the season presentation is close to the ensemble's core: polyphonic music and improvisation, in a continuous interplay between old and new. Voices that intertwine, fall apart, and come together again. Not a preview of De Gezichten, but a preview of the sound of Delle Donne Consort.
